Volunteering
NTEC's Day Services program is designed to teach and foster skills and abilities that will lead to greater independence. The focus of the program is to get involved in the community through opportunities geared to the strengths and interests of the individual.
What is Job Path?
A FREE employment readiness training session designed for individuals who have a disability.
Co-operative Education
A Ministry approved program that allows secondary and post-secondary students to earn school credits while completing a work placement. Co-op placements are arranged for students by the school that they are attending; the co-op is monitored by their school’s designated cooperative education coordinator and assigned NTEC staff.
Summer Youth Success Program
NTEC's Summer Youth Success program helps students who have a disability find paid employment, provides a continuum of education and employment services to young adults 18-21 years old from the local school boards and alternative education programs.
Work Experience Training
One of the most important benefits of work experience is its potential to provide the opportunity to learn more about your own abilities, explore your strengths and weaknesses, and then identify the gaps in your skill set.
