Niagara Training & Employment Agency (NTEC) operates a regional respite program for children with special needs. This program is a resource of last resort for individuals with high needs.

- Located in Niagara Falls, Ontario at the Donald L. Reilly Centre
- Wheelchair accessible six-bed planned respite program
- Operates from Friday to Sunday throughout the year
- Availability includes weekend respite as well as full week day support during July and August
- Some assistance may be available for transportation in unique situations for a fee
- The fees for the program are:
- Full Weekend: $100.00
- Day support: $50.00
- Summer Camp: $50.00/day
Respite
- The program has been designed and the respite schedule is set to meet the diverse needs of the children and youth attending the program
- Trained and qualified staff provide support to children and youth who have complex needs in a professional and compassionate manner
- Participants in the program take part in fun and engaging activities at the Donald L. Reilly Centre and in the community
- Respite staff members support the development of meaningful peer relationships amoung the participants in the program
- Criteria for Admission
- Five to 17.5 years of age with any disability
- No other respite being used
- Living in Fort Erie, Niagara Falls, Pelham, Port Colborne, Welland or Thorold
